Karen – Child Care Centre Manager

Karen has worked in the child care industry for over 17 years and has been a Centre Manager for the past 4 years.

Karen currently holds a Diploma in Children’s Services and is keen to further her skills and knowledge by studying further in the future. Other certificates that Karen holds are First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Food handling. She has worked with all age groups and has a passion for working with children in the early years.

Karen finds it a very rewarding career at Creative Beginnings working with a great staff team and enjoys seeing the children at the centre develop and grow. Her philosophy involves play based learning and incorporating the natural environment and multiculturalism into the program.

At Creative Beginnings our aim is to provide each child with a memorable experience where we can foster all areas of development and assist with promoting self help skills, imagination, creativity and warm and friendly interactions with all staff and children.

We have a family friendly service and conduct regular special days for our families to attend and be a part of the Creative Beginnings experience with their child. Our dedicated team are highly motivated and passionate professionals who make Creative Beginnings a great place to be.

Creative Beginnings Early Learning Centre Mentone offer quality childcare in Mentone catering for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Our Mentone child care centre manager Karen encourages a day care environment that makes the children feel safe whilst enjoying the freedom to express themselves as individuals. Our Childcare Centre provides nutritional meals, nappies and provide a strong foundation for early education.
